Other education centres

In addition to the Instituto Cervantes-accredited centres and the universities, there are two other types of schools in Castilla y León that offer Spanish courses for foreigners: private centres that have not applied for or obtained accreditation from the Instituto Cervantes and Escuelas Oficiales de Idiomas (Official Language Schools) offering Spanish courses for foreigners. These public learning centres, dependent on the Ministry of Education of the Castilla y León Regional Government, offer language courses for the general public and, for some years now, Spanish courses for foreigners as well.
